TIE FOR DUX AT YORK
DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL

It was a tie for Dux at York District High School in 2013.

Graduating year 10 students, Emma Fewster and Emily Sherry shared the honour of being named Dux of the school at the graduation ceremony on December 18. Both girls also received a number of subject and general awards.

Emma and Emily shared the York and Districts Community Bank academic scholarship. Brody Bauer received the Bank's VET scholarship. Brody and Emma will  continue their education in year 11 at WA College of Agriculture - Cunderdin and Emily at St Brigid's in Lesmurdie.

A highlight of the graduation was the inclusion of year six students. This was to make way for the state wide shift of year seven students to high school and year six becoming the final year of primary school in future.
